I have just retired as Musical Director of Hunstanton Concert Band. Hear them on youtube, playing Von Suppé's Light Cavalry Overture.

I was also conductor of Centre Stage Swing Band, which was founded by the late Roger Lines.

My daughter, Elizabeth Gutteridge, and I perform together as the Renaissance duo, Wyldes Noyse.

I am Chief Waite of the King's Lynn Waites - a Medieval and Renaissance Town Band.
The band hosted the Eigth International Festival of Town Pipers in May 2018.

I play some of the most obscure musical instruments ever invented, and can talk entertainingly on their history and use.

Together with my friend Dr James Merryweather, I founded, and for many years ran, The Waits Website - a vast and comprehensive academic site designed to accumulate and disseminate knowledge of the Renaissance civic bands of Britain and Europe, and I am a life member and former trustee of The International Guild of Town Pipers, registered charity number 1124144.
