Back in 1988 I became fed up with my boring office job at Norwich Union and I left in order to concentrate on my musical ambitions. I studied early woodwind instruments at London College of Furniture and it was there that I developed a taste for wood turning as well as enhancing my musical knowledge and experience.
Since leaving college in 1991 I have lived in Germany and Ireland before finally settling back in Norfolk in 1998 where I have until recently made a living making turned parts for reproduction furniture. I now have the time and resources to concentrate on turned domestic tableware in the old style and the musical instruments which have inspired me over the years.
